Workshop: TeaTime4Science - the dos and don’ts in citizen science
Taru is one of the inventors of the tea bag index – a smart way to measure decomposition activity in soils on two different types of tea packaged in bags, a commercially available product. The involved experiment is simple (tea bag weight before and after incubation) and can be conducted without special education or lab access. The tea bag group has been spreading the word all around the world and has collected a remarkable dataset with the help of citizens, schools and kindergardens.
After her talk and a coffee break, we invite you to participate in an interactive workshop about the dos and don’ts in citizen science – maybe also your project can benefit of interaction with people?
Please let us know if you plan to come to the workshop so that we can arrange the best format!
